Lake Muskoka
Willow Beach Cottage
A shoreline cottage shaped by the site — where birch, granite, and water set the terms.

Lake Muskoka · 4 Bed · 4 Bath
Built for the shoreline, designed to last
Willow Beach Cottage sits at the water’s edge on Lake Muskoka — a four-bedroom, four-bathroom retreat conceived to settle into its site rather than announce itself. The massing follows the natural grade; the materials echo the stone outcroppings and white birch that frame the lot. Every decision was made with longevity in mind.
Interior Architecture
Warmth without weight
Working alongside HillTop Interiors, the principal rooms prioritize material honesty over ornamentation. Exposed timber structure, board-form concrete, and wide-plank hardwood establish a palette that holds across seasons. Open principal rooms capture the western light; the bedrooms stay quiet and sheltered.
Construction · Cottage Country Builders
From site to standing
Cottage Country Builders led the build on a site that tested both access and scheduling. The result is a structure that reads as settled — as though it has always been there. McMorran Electric handled the systems, ensuring the mechanical infrastructure supports the cottage without surfacing in the experience of it.

Every project starts with the land. If you have a lot on the water — and a long list of questions — that’s exactly where we begin.
