Microsoft Kin: So this is what project pink was all about.

For the majority of people I think it was a bit of a shock today when Microsoft announced the Kin. When the word got around Microsoft was making an announcement a lot of people were hoping on the Courier but this is just as big.

The Kin was developed mainly around the idea of social media and trying to keep that concept simple. On the Kin you can update all your status’s from one place, see what friends are doing across all your social media services, and share anything with anyone. This idea of integration is not new but I don’t think it has been done on this level before.

Microsoft has shaken up the phone market with this device and filled a greatly need gap. Although this still a new announcement, this looks like the perfect phone for anyone that needs a simple device to stay connected.

On another note its interesting to see that Microsoft released this device after the big announcement of the Windows 7 Phone.

Stay tuned for more.

The New Magazine

How could you take reading journalism to the next level? I’m sure everyone imagines what a magazine would look like on a some sort of tablet device. Maybe some interactive galleries, videos, 360 degree rotation of objects, and the list could go on. Wired Magazine and Adobe teamed up and created the wired reader. This is an application developed with Adobe Air and was primarily developed for the iPad. Take a look at the video below and see how Adobe using there platform transformed Wired Magazine into something much more then an off the shelf magazine.

KRE House is very accommodating, with lots of room for cars and the ability to show off one of the cars in the living room one floor above. The garage contains a lift which raises a car up to the living room of the second floor where people can gaze and enjoy it. The house contains lots of fancy details including the allusion of floating rooms when in the main living area. This is very unique and adds various levels ceiling height to the room.
